Pasture Board starts at $250 per month for 1 horse

Hauling a horse:

Abernathy Farm can sometimes arrange to haul horses. Some situations you may need this service are: vet transportation, buying or selling horse, boarding a horse, or  going to a local show or trail.

The fee for this service is $2 per loaded mile. That means if I am just dropping a horse off, the fee is only charged one way. If I am picking a horse up and bringing him back home the charge is both directions. This fee is charged per horse-call or email for a quote for multiple horses going to the same location.

I use a Featherlite trailer equipped with 2 box stalls for mares and foals, stallions, or hauling long distances. This trailer will also accommodate 4 stocky horses or 6 smaller horses or ponies. Horses can travel straight or slant loaded. The trailer is 7 ft tall inside.
